almost everyone is putting a little money aside for somthing they want. what are you saving for? im saving for a new tig welder.

I'm saving to buy some mad energy drugz so I can max my next pt test, and get bumped up a rank.
O yeah, I dont really have any money either. $8 an hour working at farm and fleet doing oil, tires, and other misc crap isnt good. Fuel being $3.79 per gall really hurts. I'm getting about 25mpg... Ugh... ~Nate

I'm saving for the sake of saving. For a while I was saving for a diesel G-Wagen. Then I was saving for a house. I have enough for either, but now I just want to keep saving. It's like a sport. I like the idea of having enough saved to play around in the stock market a little bit, because now I just keep it all in almost-no-risk T-bills. Whenever I settle down to the point where I feel comfortable buying a house, I'll do that. I'd actually save money doing that as opposed to paying rent, considering I'd build equity and get the tax benefit of mortgage payments, whereas rent goes to nowhere.
I do have a few smaller items I'd like to spend some money on. I have enough, but still have to talk myself into picking into my savings. Definitely looking to buy a new head unit for the MB, and would also really like to throw in a sub and amp because the bass leaves a lot to be desired (and I love bass). Also may decide to have my rocker panels replaced by a reputable body shop, even though that will be hellaciously expensive. Mostly I just enjoy being a miser ...

I am saving up to buy a 2008 Yamaha R6 Silver, i have done the math and with getting this bike i can save about 50 dollars a month. Always wanted to get a street bike after many years of riding dirt bikes and well now its time to save. Already have 2 grand and i figure that i will make about 6 over the summer. Work in the fall and by spring I can buy it with cash.

I usually save whatever I can to be able to get by in times when things may not be as good. I like to have some loot available in case a good deal on something I want comes along. My recent aquisition (560SEC) is a good example.
