This Saturday, May 17th from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. the Bernalillo Coutny Sheriff's Department will have an Open House in the parking lot of Cottonwood Mall. There will be representatives from all of the specialty units there as well as our recruiters. This is intended as both a recruiting event as well as a way for us to show the public what we are all about. I will be there for SWAT and we will have most of our equipment on display, including our freshly repainted V-100 armored vehicle. So if you are in the area stop by, bring the kids and let them see the helicopter and K-9 demonstrations.
