Yep, that was probably a pretty decent kitchen though. At least they spent money where it counts. Did they do anything to the bathrooms?

Hattie, is $700k considered an expensive home in your area?

So, so.

Yeah f'ed them up: two of the downstairs showers were grandly done in high dollar glass tile, benches, arched entrances, rain heads, ect.....by a crew of Mexican tile setters who didn't install pans or use proper backer board. We got a check at the closing to replace them because the seller (an attorney) couldn't find the workers after he realized they messed up.

You sound like you get to Manhattan a bit; try Century 21 at 22 Courtland Street (between Broadway and Church--yes, I am reading from a receipt, no I don't know the City that well:D). My wife uses an office very close by when there and she came home with an armload of Karl Lagerfeld pants for me a few years ago and I freaked out until I found out they were only $75/pair. Since then she stocks me up with cool stuff from there each trip. There is also a similar place (non-counterfiet) in the vicinity of the Soho Grand called BlueFly or something (I can check if you want) that sells more leather and accessory stuff for cheap as well.

Thanks I will check it out, I like the best just not paying for it.:D

Their is a Saks outlet in Clinton that has some pretty decent stuff, its really hit and miss though. Last time I was their I got a really nice light weight casual Zegna button down for like $100, market down from $250.

Ebay is hard you have to really cherry pick the auctions or you get used, messed up or fake junk. I have been lucky so far but I really cherry pick them.
