pizza

I've been delivering pizza in my 116 for papa john. On my way back from a delivery coming down the 26, onto the freeway enters a little sporty coup Beamer convertable and he tries speeding past me, so natrually as a young pizza driver in a Benz turbodiesel, I began pacing on side of him. Hes got long grey hair, sunglasses, leather jacket and blaring the talking heads- insync with his recent midlife crisis I suppose- we hit ninety before my better judgment got to me. He cruses ahead and gets off at the same exit as me, now side by side at a red light, I put her in reverse, stop and gestured to exchange words. He turns down his talking heads and I ask him this:

"excuse me sir... Do you have any grey poupon?"

a small "travel size" can of grey poupon was a necessity when I had my W123 - didn't want someone to try that joke on me and not come out laughing =)

(I even bought a few from my brother, who has a 450SL and a 300E....)

Joke? You mean to tell me everyone doesn't travel around with small bottles of Grey Poupon with them?:D

Mustard is not allowed in my car. Especially French mustard.

LaRondo 05-18-2008 12:42 AM

How about French's Yellow Mustard ...?:P

Mistress 05-18-2008 08:19 AM

Man that was great! I'd try that around here but on the Beltway if you gestured to get something out of the glove box, they would mistake it for a piece and pop a cap in my as*.

Dee8go 05-18-2008 08:39 AM

Gray Poop!

KarTek 05-18-2008 09:22 AM

I don't want to see gray poop on anything...

I thought it was too?

I hate people who speed up to keep me from passing them. I usualy merge over on them and drive them into the next lane or gutter. Thats why you can't use your blinker as soon as it goes on the SOB in the next lane speeds up.

Matt L 05-18-2008 12:23 PM

I hate people who cut me off at the last second before I am about to pass a truck. They invariably do not use the blinker and I have to hit the brakes to slow down. Why not just let me pass? I'm going faster than you.

Trakehner 05-18-2008 03:38 PM

Do you think people who speed up so you can't change lanes are genuinely mean-hearted or are they just 'having fun'?
