People cutting right in front of you!

Today I went to the bank to pay my credit card bill, and as I entered from the front I see a guy coming in from the opposite side, looks like we came in at the same time and heading to the line area. I walked at the pace I entered--fast walking. Since I was pretty close to the line, I got there first. There wasn't a long line at all, maybe one or two people in front of me, and they were called up when I got there. I normally have my check written out and ready, but today I didn't so I started to get my payment out and just then I see that guy who came in the same time as I did cut in front of me when a bank teller was ready for the next person. I couldn't believe it! The rudeness of it! I mean I would have let him go ahead of me if he asked or even offered it to him since I needed some time to write my payment. I can't believe some people! Cutting in line at the bank or any place is just as bad as people talking on their cell phones at a line!

Rudeness is becoming commonplace. I attribute it to the feeling by many people that their time is simply more valuable than yours.

I see it at Costco. When there are long checkout lines, couples split up and go into separate lines. Then whoever's line is fastest is where their wagon full of stuff goes. I was shocked at first, but my wife told me it was pretty much an accepted practice.

Does not happen to me much as I'm 6'5"210.
One fellow attempted it but I soon set him to rights.

Around these parts it's chiefly women who do it.Perhaps they think a smile and a bit of cleavage entitles them to it,I don't know...

In the supermarket once,an overripe blonde in a tennis skirt with beanpole legs and dimestore gel-bag tits cut in front of an elderly man to whom I gave my place in the line.
This was not to be borne and clearly cried out for correction. So I used a trick I learned from a friend long ago.

I began by asking her in a loud whisper everyone could hear if her husband was still away,I said we better make it quick before her kids got home.
When I got to the more intimate details of "our"trysts she lost it completely, called me a perverted weirdo{despite being rude she was not without insight},left her groceries on the counter and ran out.

Those who witnessed her cutting off the old guy applauded me.

I would have tripped the guy.

When I was a cashier I got a lot of people that would cut and if the person that did the cutting I would make them feel bad about it in a good way... jerks.

One time I had a customer with all of her items on the belt and she put the bar on the end which is standard procedure. The next customer started loading her things onto the belt and the lady checking out yells at the next customer "wait your turn". I was like , " whoa now ma'am there is enough room for both orders." Her " shut up and enjoy your minumum wage job."

No one.. No one.. tells TheDon to shut up. So I rang her order up and when it was done I asked my manager to take my spot so I could help her out. As soon as we made it into the parking lot I asked where she was parked. She didn't say anything so I said, " Minimum wage pays pretty well ( as I flash my vintage rolex my grandpa gave me) and notice that she is walking to the car I was borring for the day ( my friends new E320 CDI). She said to leave the cart by the car and she would take care of it. I laughed and said, "Lady, that's not your car." She got mad and said, yes it is yes it is. So I pulled my key out and popped the trunk. " No.... it isn't."

my god the look on her face... I wish I had a camera. It looked like she had shat herself and had to reconsider her position in life.

The killer was this. I said, " Have a nice day." and gave a little wink..

No one, No one fcuks with TheDon. A once in a lifetime opportunity to make a douche want to off them self.

TheDon, wow, awesome story about the lady. Yeah, that is indeed priceless! I normally don't condone any deliberate flashing of wealth, but that lady deserved to be set right by making such a comment about other people's socio-economic position. That reminds me, many months back a friend and I were at this trendy place in Irvine, CA, called the Spectrum. We were hanging out at the quad area where they have events, and that day some bands were going to perform with some big MTV band headline. I forget which one. Anyway, a security guard approached my friend and asked him to take this blue bandana on his head off because it was gang-affliated or something and was inappropriate in this family place. My friend didn't like being told what to do and gave him grief and then asked him to bring his superior. Next thing I knew more gurads came and explained the situation, and they seemed pretty civil about it. They weren't acting like they were on some power trip, but my friend was being quite an ******* about the whole deal. Then my friend started to comment about their "$12/hour job" (he randomly said twelve as if it were considered low) and how they were on some power thing blah blah blah. They gave him a choice either to take it off or leave the premise. My friend decided to leave, so I had to too (He was driving). The guards had to "escort" us out, though not directly but just by walking behind us a few yards away so as not to be too conspicuous. As we were heading to the parking lot I went to one of the guards and apologized for my friend's rudeness. They were only doing their jobs and enforcing the rules of the place, which is private property, btw. It wasn't like they just made up the rule and wanted to piss people off. Anyway, my friend's comment about their jobs sort of made me lose respect for him a bit and I've not talked to him much since then. He's a good person overall, but making fun of someone's job or salary, whether it's true or not, is not cool in my book.

The Rolex was a gift from my grandpa. He bought it in Germany in 1947 during the rebuilding of the nation. He was stationed there with the army. They are nothing fancy but still keep time. I have two of them. Along with my Hamiltons. My friend wanted me to borrow his new E320 CDI until his wife came back from a business trip so I could break it in and let him know how It is. A very trusting friend might I add.

Reminds me of another thing that happened to me. Two weeks ago the customer service manager said to the new store manager as I walked by. "That boy drives a Mercedes." The new store manager asked me how I paid for it. I said, "cash." and walked away.

I disagree. People have felt that way for the longest time. Just that society hasn't been as accepting of it so it has not shown up too much.
