Coming to Connecticut in July! - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Ok guys, My family is going on vacation in july and I do belive i am slated to join. They want to fly but I would rather drive since my massive fear of flying in airplanes and zepplins.I havent talked to my parents about driving up but I would really like to. I would suggest they just give me the money they would put towards my ticket for my fuel. I wouldn't be going alone either I'd bring a friend to drive as well. Heh, if I drive I'd so get a CB radio to pass the time, 19 hours in a car... no fun without trucker talk

Anyways, I think the date is july 15th to the 27th. I will get specifics. I would really like to come back to CT not only to see my family but to finally meet the other members here on the board. Hatty, Swamp, Brian,Powerpig, mistress, Carelton and the others!

I've been dying to go to Blackies in Waterbury for a killer hot dog with a birch beer.I think its time I come up.

I shall keep youse guys posted

Thats a 9 hour drive from connecticut to west virginia....

Would you be driving "Eva"? I'd like to hear your "system".

If you pass thru PA, let me know ... or maybe I could finally meet Swamp and the others as well. Perhaps I should start a fresh batch of homebrew for those over 21.

It's been a few years since I've been to Blackies, that'd be a good enough excuse for a hotdog run to me!

july 13th to the 28th is what my step dad has off for his vacation but I am not sure what the exact dates of my arrival will be. Plus its not like set yet, but if he wants to go we have to get the plane tickets asap.

I am probably not going to drive since the plane ticket, round trip, is the same price as fuel one way.

Meh why not, we don't have many at the top of the forum.

I have never been to Blackies. I used to go to Crickets in Stratford, but they closed down awhile back.

I bet we could host something at my uncles property up in Winchester.
