Men shouldn't even be asked, let alone expected to attend a baby shower. I'd bet $10 the husband won't even be there. Pending non-whipped verification.

Why? Is it some physical law?

I doubt he will too. Most are too scared to be seen as not being manly enough.

How about a savings bond?

How about oral sex to the mom to be? It isn't like it is real sex so the dad shouldn't mind. :D :D

Why shouldn't a man be asked? Because men, gay or straight, have no interest is oohing and aahing over someone else's kid. It's just not a thing we do.

It's not a question of appearance. Name something that doesn't involve violation or pain that you wouldn't rather do than attend a baby shower. I'd rather Civil War re-enact than go to a baby shower.

Some men do, others try to maintain that manly facade and there are others that aren't.

Been to a baby shower years ago. Didn't think it was that bad. A few of us paid our respects and had a few beers and a few laughs.

Funny, this topic comes up now.

DJ got an invite just yesterday to a baby shower for a family member up in OK.

It’s all pretty and girlish (They’re having a girl.), has all that “registered at...” stuff, etc.

But, across the bottom it says:
“Don’t make the drive by yourself, bring alone the man in your life. Joe will be hosting a skeet shoot for the men. Same time, same place.”

Now that’s my kind of baby shower !!
Say what ya want about men at baby showers. This is one I will for sure be attend'n !! :D

Be wary. It was a skeet shoot that got Joe into this mess...

I thought you wrap up for safety reasons? Isn't that why they say "No glove, no love"?

That sounds like two separate events occurring at the same time.
