Its about time--I cannot fathom why a guy so seemingly intelligent was bagging groceries--for any amount of time. Good luck!!

Hey now! I bagged groceries for 2 years while I was a college student, I mean enrolled but not attending college, until I dropped out and got a real job. Now I can spend all of my free time at work on this forum.

To put it in context: apparently he is good with CAD, powerpoint, ect....I pay a guy $80/hour to do that. Unless I had to have an engineering or reconstructionist's stamp, I would pay somebody like theDon at least $50/hour. What's that, a whole shift at the grocery store?

Ahh yes. Lets see thats 41.73 dollars more per hour than I made sticking vegetables with porkchops and raid with babyfood.

Good luck, Joe. Yeah, I agree with the other comments above. You're too bright and capable to be bagging groceries. Just remember that when you're in that interview.

I'm grossley underpaid for my technical expertise but I tolerate it because my job is kinda cushy...

I'm fully experienced at most business software, PPT, Axcess, Excel, Visio, Audio and video editing programs and some ACAD...

I'd be your Huckleberry for $35 an hour!

Oh yeah, good luck Joe!

I upgraded earlier last year to putting boxes on shelves... it's a blast. Small boxes, big boxes, odd shaped boxes, etc

i'll do what you want for $20 an hour.

(I make like.. $65 a day putting crap on shelves)

Well, apparently I have to apply to Disney's administrative people for the job I want, Photopass Photographer, no worries thought. I just uploaded my resume and all that jazz. They better hire me.. I spent $10 on that fancy pants paper...

It would be impractical for me to farm out that far away, but in your area, especially Raleigh, you could probably pull down $100/hour for such work. Greensboro would be a gold mine too. The problem is that most large firms have full time guys for this who are on salary. Lone wolf's like me pay a little higher hourly rate to a sub who works for several people. To get this type of work, you have to put yourself out there to get an initial gig, and the rest is word of mouth. The guy that works for me makes about $150K in an average year. He's single and has a nice condo in Orange Beach, Alabama and drives a Lexus cabriolet.
