I was talking with a friend of my brother who is back home on leave. He said that he is buying a lot of slingshots and bringing them back to Iraq.

Slingshots?

Yes, apparently, the people over there throw rocks at the soldiers all the time and the soldiers are not allowed to shoot their M16's in defense. So enter the slingshots.

There is something wrong with this picture! For PC's sake, they can't use bullets in self defense. He commented that during the Vietnam war, if the enemy escaped across the border to Laos, the US soldiers could not go after them. And if they did and got killed there, they would be considered MISSING in action.

Politicians.......ugh.
