EU Renews Diplomatic Relations
We Always Liked Raul Best?
Since the ascension of Raul Castro in February, there have been indications that Cuba would become more tolerant of dissident voices. The 27-member EU said today it wants to see more progress, while holding out an olive branch to Cubans and their new government.

I think we should start to move in that direction as well. I think their is a lot of money to be made in Cuba and I would hate for Americans to miss out.

Can't wait. If I were in charge I would start making friends with whoever is probably going to be in charge.
Everything I have read about life inside Cuba seems to indicate the people would welcome open trade and the profit that would bring to them.

If we can have friendly relations with the likes of Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and the like, we can have a peaceful and profitable co-existance with Cuba also.
I see a Mercedes M-Class factory in Cuba's future.  Ken300D

I think the biggest issue that Cuba will face is after Fidel dies and all the exiles try to go home and get back their property. It can go two ways
The way it did in Poland where things were settled without too much pain and fuss or thhe way it is going in Nicaragua where there are all sorts of bogus deeds and contention over whose land it really is... I for one want to be on the first flight of Chalks Airways from FtLauderdale to Havana! I will go down with a sack cash and come back with a Packard or Caddy
