It's interesting reading viewer comments on the forums. Some people love it and some hate it. I saw it being called "a masterpiece" many, many times but just as many called it crap. I was also surprised at the 9.3/10 rating on IMDB based on over 13,000 votes.

"Are you kidding me? This is the worst Pixar movie I have ever seen. Higher rating than Ratatouille? Come on people, this movie is a joke, it's waaaay over rated. I watched this awful movie last Saturday and I was surprised nobody's on the line. After the show I'm waiting for any reactions from people and I wasn't surprise that people are so quiet and I heard some scattered boos. I've seen all Pixar animated movies in the theater and usually kids are clapping and cheering after the movie, but all I hear is cricket. Of course I give a lot of credit to Pixar's CGI and they're always number one in computer animations, but overall story, I'll give it a 2/10. First half of the movie I almost fell asleep with no dialog or whatsoever, and who wants to see these overweight people living in a space ship, and these boring robot falling in love! Come on! It's not even close to Toy Story, The Incredibles, Ratatouille and other Pixar movies. If you like Charlie Chaplin silent films like no dialog at all, you're going to love this movie. And if you're expecting that this movie is comedy, don't bother to watch it, good luck because it's not funny at all. To all people who's telling me this movie is humorous, tell me one scene which is funny on this movie, did I miss something here? Tell you what, if you want a funny movie this summer, go watch Kung Fu Panda. I love Kung Fu Panda but I'm not gonna rate a 10. Overall I'll rate Wall-E a disappointing 3/10. I do have all collections of Pixar DVD's, but I'll pass on this one. Sorry."
I'm easily entertained so I'll probably give it a shot.
