Broken Treo Screen
Anybody ever tried to get the screen on their Treo replaced? I broke mine the other day. Since I haven't been able to get it to hot sync for a coulpe of years, I really won't want to have to start all over with a new one.
I'm assuming that a screen replacement would be so expensive that I'd just want to buy a new phone. Unless it's an I Phone, though, I don't want to do that. Any suggestions? |

I replaced a screen on my friend treo 650 a while ago....
I got the screen and tools off ebay, and it took like an hour. That, and alot of patience. The screen is held in with friction if i recall, and its connected with via a ribbon cable that has a door holding it onto the plug.... I think I have my old 650 floating around here somewheres... I had my phone insurance replace it when I lost it like 2 years ago, and found it when I was cleaning out my closet.... The serial number is blacklisted, but the phone and screen are in near perfect shape.... Price out a screen, and Ill give you the phone for that price.... Or just mail it to you, as I have no paypal set up... |
Thanks, Justin and Howie. The video is great. Maybe I'll check E Bay and see what I come up with.

While we're at it, is there any way to make an I Phone work on Sprint?
