Just bouncing some ideas around, and thought that since a "lady of the nite" charges for her services, then by using her services, this would not constitute an extra marital affair. Can someone weigh-in, in favor of this idea?

If you know it isn't infidelity why would you need confirmation from others? Just tell your wife you're going to get laid by a pro and see what she thinks.

It depends on the relationship. Some of my friends have problems when going to the titty bars. Well, in my case, the wife makes sure I have singles. In the first case, their wives are uncomfortable with it. In my case, the wife says WGAS. To her it is like me going fishing or whatever.

Is it cheating? I suppose you are going to have to talk to the wife and find out what sort of relationship you have. Lets talk of swingers. They swap spouses so to them it is not cheating. OTOH, if you talk polyamory, that might be something that swingers don't want to get involved with. A poly couple might not want to get into swinging where they simply have sex with other couples. OTOH, they will be willing to engage in a relationship with other people. Swingers simply swap sex partners but might be uncomfortable with a relationship that goes beyond sex with others.

I guess what I am trying to say is that whether it is or is not depends on the agreements you and the wife have.

My vows included a line something like , " forsaking all others..."
In my case it would be a violation of my vows.

By, hey, people don't really mean what they say, do they? Some people do not consider oral sex as sexual contact, as in, " I never had sex with that woman, not once...".

Why not get something more recent? Talk to the wife and see how she feels about it now.

To you maybe. To the spouse, maybe not. It would have to depend on their individual relationship

I am going to bring this subject up with the wife. This is 2008, who knows ,maybee the wife wants to be serviced also,but never knew how to bring the subject up to me. I just do not want to go to my grave without ever experiancing the talents of a woman who REALLY knows what to do with a man. Live in the dark ages if you want to,as for me, I want to be enlightened.
