Doesn't the lack of a saddle horn indicate "English"?

Looks like your wife has soft hands, I bet she's a lovely rider. Congratulations on the addition!

Thank you, but that is actually one of my daughters. She is the horsie rider...and she is a lovely rider.

She is good with horses...they like her and she likes them! :)

Beautiful animal. Congrats!

Thanks. He is a real sweet horse.

It is nice hanging around him. You know what they say, "there is nothing as good for the inside of a man as the outside of a horse!!!"

He is a Canadian export, maybe that explains the nice personality and the good manners. :D

Congratulations on your family addition. :)

The saddle is English, like you said no horn. But the bridle and the reins are Western. My daughter did dressage for many years.

She is going to start doing Western riding...but no barrel racing though!!!

She will be getting a Western saddle soon.

Smart investment, considering today's fuel prices. :)

My sister is a 'Horse Lady', she's got about 8 or so. They are breeding them on the ranch. American Quarter Horses and Arabians.

Hey Ernesto!

Nice to hear from you! :D

Beautiful horse - congrats! Glad things are going well for you and the family.

We have some big horses at the family farm - Percherons and Belgians. We've also got a growing herd of miniature horses that a farmer keeps on our land. They're funny looking little guys, but the kids love 'em! :)

Hey Chris. How are you doing, eh?

Thank you for the well-wishes.

This is a small horse but he has a lot of heart. And, as you may have read above, he is Canadian. Which would explain his good manners. :D

My daughter had been working with him for a while, so when the opportunity to buy it came up she knew that she wanted it! So here he is. :)

Arabians are beautiful horses. This one is part quarter horse.

Fuel prices are actually going down around here; feed, however, is still going up. :(

He is a beautiful horse--and a blonde! How Californian is that ???

Thanks for the welcome...and for the PM. It feels good to be back home!

Oh wow, you have minis. Do you want to hear something funny! My sister's horses are afraid of minis lol.
You're Canadian so I have to say this....Big Ben was my mom's favorite horse and Ian Millar her favorite rider.
