Someone egged my car last night
Mad as hell
Must have happened last night and I didn't come out to my car until 4'ish today and it has been 88F where I am. Eggs were cooked onto the paint. Spent 2 hours cleaning that side and there are some patches where the paint is a different color now. If I ever caught whoever did it.....Swear to god it would not be pretty and there would be some serious retribution. No other cars were hit -- just mine. Anybody else ever have this happen to them? Any suggestions as to the paint? Where can I find touchup paint for my Pearl Gray Metallic TE? Should I just go to the local benz dealership? |
That sucks!
Eggs contain alkaloids which can damage paint! Saturate a towel in a solution of 50% white vinager and 50% water and place it over the stain on your paint. Wait and pray... :D If it hasn't been too long you should be able to save your paint. Good Luck! |

As much as I love cookin eggs.....just not on my car!!! Now I'm afraid of leaving my car on the street... |
Happens to me usually on Halloween. Also silly string.
It's annoying. The eggs tend to crack the paint where they land. Very ugly. |
Ha a rock thrown at the window on my old car, left a pretty big crack. I have a strong suspicion of who did it, but no proof and can't figure out where he lives...
