It was basically a show and shine today

The euro marque emphasis changes each month. Today it was Audi, VW, Lanborghini, Ferrari and Maserati.

I had heard about this about a year ago. It is for owners of Euro cars to gather in Granite Bay (east of Sacramento!!) to show off their cars for a couple of hours and then an impromptu rally through the nearby wine country and mountains;

I nipped in behind a BMW M3,a modded Passat, a Corvette ZR7, and ahead of a couple of Porsche Carrera cabrios.

My SEC AMG did just fine, these drivers hit the roads at 80-90mph and above
- but the good old W126 kept up with these heavies with NO problem at all

The SEC is a true GT by any real measure. Big fun had today.

M3 & Passat

Guy who owned this '07 E63 AMG had it lowered and new wheels put on, and the computer remapped secretly. He had it to 170 mph he said. Even the two baby seats in the back have 3 point Recaro racing harnesses!! LOL

It looked beautiful

R8 speedometer goes to 220 mph. Just what you need to dash to the corner market and buy a quart of milk

Back in 1991, the BMW 840ci was the direct competition to the 560SEC, but it never caught on with BMW purists

Porsche Carrera and BMW 840ci; I had no problems keeping up with this Porsche on the rallye afterwards. Its owner is from Reno, I talked to him after the rallye. W126ers rule!!

One of the women then gags herself, vomiting into the cup while the other one licks the contents. They then take turns vomiting into each other's mouths and the video finishes with them kissing with a lot of faecal matter between their faces. The site has garnered a great deal of attention on internet forums and video sites, spawning various reaction videos and parodies such as songs and animated versions

Jim, I have attended almost every Euro Sunday for about a year now....

I usually go with the G500, as its right around the corner from my house.

Despite the really neat cars that showed up, I have a soft spot for the last one, the '65 VW ragtop, replete with the EMPI rims and the dual-Weber'd engine! I've always wanted to do a project car like that!

Looks like a bunch of peeps with way too much money on their hands. I would like to go to an event like that, but I would just go home depressed and hating my otherwise fabulous W126 with 5k worth of attention to paid to it.

As iWrock noted its around the corner from his house, and i live near him. Hes been trying to get me to go with him to this event for a long time. But I'm with you. My 126 is a wonderful car, but parking it in that lot with those cars will just make me feel sad.

I told Justin, iWrock, that I would take the 74 240D to this even when it is finished, because then i would have a car that would stand out... for being the slowest car at the event!

You couldn't have wheels like on that Gallardo around here, the pot hole filled roads would bend them in short order. CA roads stay nice they don't get frost.

Nice meet, you can have the VW's though.
