Thanks, Justin. I'm making my airline and hotel reservations right now. They mentioned leather, too. Mistress might want in on that, although she's not particularly fond of bikes.

Motorcyles are just fine...nothing better than a nice 59' Shovelhead or perhaps a nice Indian and even better a Harley Davidson Fatboy with a softtail creme color with tourquois.(sp).

Making reservations for next year? This year is in the can - afraid you missed it:

Most definitely positively absolutely NOT SAFE FOR WORK. At least not most places.

I wondered my uncle was planning a visit to New Zealand. He's been to Australia for a few weeks every year for the past five years. That 'splains it!

Those fun-loving Auklanders! Apparently it was somewhat chilly during the parade, judging from the pictures.

Dang mistress, you like some nice bikes....

Me personally, give me a new Boss Hoss..... Or an old Indian, and I would be as happy as a pig in some mud.

I love the concept of the Boss Hoss but the lines and proportions just look a little "off".

A Road King is on my short list. It's sad that I'm looking for comfort over style.

Thats why I like them...

They are just that little bit different and odd, and thats what makes me like them.

Road Kings look good. But if I want a comfort bike, I would get a Honda Goldwing.

My brother was into bikes when we were younger and I really enjoyed riding.

since we've moved on past the loveliness and are on to the bikes, here is an interesting bike that i've always liked.

the Honest Charlie Ford Flathead V8 Motorcycle.

My sister's late-BF had a Goldwing (in addition to a funky collection of 70's vintage Hondas and Suzukis). Very nice riding bikes. Too refined for me. Although I could see a full-dress Electra Glide at some point.

I'll join you on that, Nik! I love the old flatheads. The sound is hard to beat. The proportions on that thing are nice, too!
