another up and coming ebay/paypal rule that is going to cause a massive uproar ~~~ buyer not happy, return it to the seller and all they need is a delivery confirmation and paypal will issue a full refund ~~~ seller has no recourse...... period

holy crap will that open a big can of worms ~~~ buy a product and send anything back, keep the product and the cash

I don't think that vehicle purchases will be "PayPal only" under the announced policy changes - see this announcement.

Please note that the new payments policy will not apply to the vehicles categories in Motors, capital equipment categories in Business & Industrial, Mature Audiences and Real Estate.
I only became aware of this today. It's an easy detail to miss, as they didn't put it directly in the main announcement.

in reading that announcement i see car parts are not exempt from the paypal only

thusly any car/motorcycle/boat/ airplane/etc parts will have to be sold by paypal only.......... just can't believe they're doing this

i doubt anybody on this board does more on ebay than i do and i'll start worrying when there is something to worry about.
frankly, i've been requiring paypal accounts on all my vehicle listings for a while; i found it easier than cancelling bids from 'bidders' who never intended to pay in the first place. new policies may cause some problems at first but it will most likely work out o.k.

come this fall when ebay will become an electronic payment only site, it will also give them records of anything you have bought or sold..... hummmm, perfect for big brother to monitor along with giving the state tax boys a paper trail for every user

cash has always been king in the used parts world, guess it will get the shoe clerks out of the game ~~~ really sitting on the fence with ebay due to the recent changes ~~~ still shaking my head on this, totally stupid.....but it is their sandbox
