That is a funny story... I would somehow find a way out of my shoes!

"What are you doing in my house, Mr. Pearce?"

"Oh, just hanging around."

Sorry to hear that, Dan. I've had my home broken into before. The stuff they stole wasn't that big a deal, but it just made me feel creepy afterward.

On a positive note, the window these guys crawled through was one that had been painted shut for 30-40 years and I couldn't get it open to save my life! I figured they had to work pretty damned hard for that 13" B&W TV and Sony record player they got. I think I came out ahead on that deal.

Must be that he didn't have strong enough abdominals to reach up long enough to get free. If the strings were caught right, they could have been pulling his shoe on so tight, it wouldn't come off.

I can't imagine though that he couldn't hit at the strings with the claws of his hammer and break them.

I'm pretty sure I know the suspect. He's a local street walker type who's ask to do small jobs in the past. Always looking for smoke, drink money.
I may take him up on his offer. He knows I have a ranch somewhere north of here and I may just take him for a ride.

Man sorry to hear that. Least you're doing good. That sounds like petty theft, bound for a pawnshop I'm sure.

Drop him off in the woods the other side of Antlers, OK. Maybe he will meet up with the Oklahoma Bigfoot.
