Anyone read Tintin comics?
I just got a copy of Tintin in the Land of the Soviets. To escape from Berlin, he takes a Mercedes car from pursuing police.
I think it's a pre Benz merger car with a star on either side of the radiator crease. Practically pulls a wheelie as he peels off. The book was published in 1930, I think. Sixto 91 300SE 87 300SDL 83 300SD

When I was a little dude I shopped bookstores in Montreal, and discovered Tintin. I have most -- in english -- and read them over and ovcer again for years.

Yeah I read those all the time when I was really young and yes I always noticed the Mercedes. I've always noticed Mercedes since I was very little
 I guess I was destined to love 'em hehehe.

years ago I had a great collection of tintin comics and asterix and obelisk comics.
I wish I still had them today, great stories, great illustrations. Alon

Hey. I was just wondering if anyone on this forum was also a Tintin fan and a search turned up this thread. I also read them as a kid. Asterix too for that matter. I'm trying to find them again but they are unheard of in this country apparently. I guess I'll have to pick them up in London next year.
