300d Drainage
 

Hello all. I have a 1982 300d turbo which I have been parking at my girlfriend's apartment (not in my garage). After a good rain, I see a lot of water draining from a drain under the driver's door. The interior carpet does not get wet.

I park on a slight incline (facing downhill) and the water does not leak until I am level. I have started parking the other way around but it has not rained since.

Any ideas on tracking this down?

Wrong forum. Try searching/posting in the diesel section.

There are drains for the sunroof. Try running a length of old flexible speedometer cable ( if you can even find some) to chase out the drains.
