Finally video of my Barracuda in action.

Ok guys,

Take a break from the German stuff and check out my little lightweight A-body Barracuda experiment jam packed full of American muscle and alot of red neck ingenuity.

I still have a few bugs to work out such as the dead spot in the carb and yeah it needs glass and exhaust.

I'm sorry I did not do a big ol burnout and squeel while powershifting into second but the motor, the clutch and the car is untested nor broke in so I will break it all in and work out the bugs, and only then will I get a little crazy with it.

The engine is a 360 cube small block with 11.0-1 compression and a solid cam, big valves, lotsa head work,a four speed trans and a sure grip rear with 3.23 gears.
I have a low first gear that works well and pulls hard enough with the rear gear ratio.

The car is tied together well with a roll cage, subframe connectors, mini tubbed, ss springs and fat 12" sticky Mickey's sportsman pro's.

In this video, I was really babying the clutch and only wound the motor out half it's desired potential so I really can't wait to get her broke in, dialed in, and ready to rock n roll.

Yeah Bill, I probably will but not any time soon.

I've spent nearly eight years saving to build this car piece by piece as I could afford it so I'm really not ready to start beating it up on the track and breaking stuff.

My Wife won't be too happy about that.

Nice work........and a beautiful vehicle.

Be careful with it...........lot's of power and poor handling don't make for a good combination.............those things can light up the entire street!!

Your handle give me a chuckle........."Cudaspaz"...........explains everything, now.

This car is built to hook up, and I may actually have a problem even getting it to fishtail.
This build is identical to my buddies 67 dart that just squats, hooks and launches every time with very little or no tire spin.

I also have some stiff front suspension unlike the drag cars that use /6 front torshion bars.

The only thing that will give me handling issues are the skinnies on the front, but with a front wheel change it would make a world of difference, but I obviously built this car for straight line fun, not loopty loops and twirly roundies.

I still need an alignment too.

Dude - that is a SWEET car! Love that sound. Heard you up here in Canada, btw.

Best part of the video 'Oh my God, why does he have to do that...'. LMAO.

How many times have women said that about their men? Classic.

Seriously, congrats, it must feel great to get that car out on the road after all the effort. Beautiful car.

It's a work of art, Cuda! I loved the commentary going on in the background . . ."Why does he have to do that?" That was priceless.

I understand but, be sure to let me know when you do take it up there so I can watch. I'd like to get some pictures.

Bill, why don't you just come over and I'll take you for a spin.
I must live less than ten miles away from you.

John.
