Eee PC?
What's the deal with them, I saw some at Target today for $299. They looked neat from what I could see...

The Eee PC runs off a linux operation system and is mostly for really basic computing. This would be great for a college student that needs a laptop to take notes in class. This laptop is not a powerhouse by all means, I think the thing is powered by intel's atom processors which aren't fast but they are small. They also have solid state drives which i think will be the furture and get rid of mechanical drives. They are cool, i just pick one up. And that price is the best that i have ever seen for those.

Every few years "The people's PC" shows up, so I guess this is ASUS' try at the market.

A coworker has one, nice simple machine for connectivity on the go but if you're going to do some serious work that keyboard is painful to type on.
