To Harbor Freight or not to Harbor Frieght ..
I work very little on my car, a day long project every few months at most. With each new project that comes up more tools have to be bought. This time I have 4 different jobs I'm doing in one long weekend (engine mounts/shocks, turbo oil return seals, fixing broken mounts for the air cleaner, and tranny fluid/filter), and it's looking like the tools needed are going to cost almost as much as paying someone else to do much of the work for me.
Basically I'm wondering if it would be worth it to save money and go to Harbor Freight for (to my knowledge) lower quality tools as opposed to spending almost $200 on tools from elsewhere. Again the tools I have hardly get used, certain ones won't get touched all year. I'm running off the assumption the tools I looked at are meant for a mechanic who puts them to work every day.
Thanks in advance for your input,
Geoff
