I was also thinking of those of us that had to be from point A to B to pick up a car or something at the last minute. Some of the one ways aren't to far apart. Hopefully, it may help some of the broke younguns here.

We did this kind of thing last Spring, when rental companies had lots of inventory down south that they wanted to move up north. Got a Hertz Honda Civic for about $4/day , dumped it in Pilly and flew back on Southwest. I am going to look out for the same deal next Spring.
