Ross T hit the nail on the head. It IS someone who knows the owner and NOT a random act. The thief or thieves knew damn well the owner was gone, what he had and where they were.
Makes me sick. Not only did he have some fabulous bikes but is serving our country overseas. Sad man, really sad. The motorcycle family [collectors and racers] is tight knit so I will spread the word amongst the local community and am sure that sooner or later somebody will locate these bikes or at least some of them.

1. I agree with that. I wonder what kind of security he had for the bikes. That collection should have been in an alarmed garage. I would be interested in more particulars. 2. I agree 100%. Hang the mofos. 3. Maybe. Maybe not. Lay low for a while and ship them (whole or in parts) overseas is just one possibility. An underlying message here is that crime and good times are inversely related. Times get tough = people out of work = need for money = steal it ! So, be vigilant. Protect your property. |

2. Hang 'em by their nads with a piano wire. 3.Sometimes its good for the victim to lay low. A local farmer had a cow shot and butchered right in his meadow. He didn't tell a soul. A year later his neighbor asks "Did you ever catch the guy who butchered your cow?" The farmer says "I just did." Your last point is oh so true. A buddy of mine has a gas station and says he's had a record # of drivers pull off without paying.
