I now have Two!

well, eagle-co94 and I now have two... we're sharing it.. Parting the carcas and splitting the profits 50/50

We paid $500 for it, $40 in gas, $47 for the u haul rental... so for $587 we have a couple grand in profit sitting there waiting for it to move. I am getting tons of hits from delorean guys wanting stuff off of it... its crazy whats left. In the process of selling a lower control arm for $200....

This should help me get my car back on the road

Good deal.

But from the picture, I'd call that more like 1 and 1/8th.

Are those cars unibody or on a frame.

Can all the body panels be removed and reused.

I would imagine there is a lot of money just in the stainless steel.

Cool Joe! Hey are you able to get a good panel off it to replace the beat one on yours?

It looks like it's getting ready to take off in your pic.

only thing left of the car was the fiberglass body tub and the frame, as well as some pieces here and there.

Is the body tub all one piece or can you get the section off where yours is cracked?

its all there, its just a matter of if this guy in norway wants to buy it from us. If so then I'll have tons of money to play with to just repair mine.

If not then I will have to pull my car off the frame to get it done properly.

congrats, I guess since this carcass will be a little money maker... heh. I'm getting pm's on the delorean forum like its going out of style..

and some delorean guys are like "dont part it out, restore it" or " transfer everything from your car to that one"

pfft screw that crap man, that is waaaaaay too much work, like months of work to transfer everything to that car from mine.

parting out a delorean is like a big no no

Ever see Dave's car? "the vixen"?

He bought it in boxes of parts and assembled it all himself!

I know about that car, Ken K pretty much gave them all bad body panels. They either had damage or stainless corrosion on them. No torsion bars were harmed lol

yea, project Vixen is sweet, but I'm not that crazy

I wonder how much money I could get if I parted out my semi good car.. lol The vin plate would probably go for $3k alone since it has a clean title

but I wouldn't do that. It would be rich, last guy that parted out a delorean got seriously flammed but everyone still bought the parts.
