Read the whole article. It's not as interesting as it sounds. She's arrested for illegal access to a computer, i.e. hacking into someone else's account, not for the virtual murder.

I did read the whole article. I guess there are no cyber cops in Second Life computer games.

I'm not going to read the article, but would have to whole heartedly agree with this after hearing what "Second Life" was from some folks the other day. I think they were the left over Dungeon and Dragons guys we used to pick on in HS.

From a legal standpoint, if someone gives you her/his id and password how can you get a conviction for computer fraud unless you did something with malicious(sp) intent in this case to do avatar harm?

I really didn't read the article so I don't know what happened. I just know when I heard about it I started thinking of myspace and facebook feuds going on between doctors, engineers, chicks.....
