Her speaking style reminds me of Olberman. I wonder if that smarmy, smart-ass verbosity is a pre-req at MSNBC? Ditto Chris Matthews, but at least he's been doing this for a while.

I like her, I find her more tolerable than most other talking heads, I can maybe watch her for 20-30 minutes. She is extremely smart, she does not get rattled, in a situation where bill o'rielly would be screaming 'shut up' at his guest, Rachel is still calm and asking the correct questions. She can be smarmy at times, but never conceited or self-righteous
Also lesbians have the 'inscrutability factor'

I like her.. And yes, she DOES play for her own team. She's the only openly-gay radio/tv host that I know of. Her and Pat Buchannan seem to have this modern-day POINT/COUNTERPOINT thing happening. I'm just waiting for the day he says: RACHAEL YOU IGNORANT SLUT !!!! lol...

I just started watching her two weeks ago. I think she's enjoyable, but the fact that we share the same political perspectives is obviously skewing my favorable opinion.
I'll have to watch more.
