The last Diesel I filled up cost me $2.89 a gallon. The lowest I've paid was on the turnpike last weekend at $2.79.

Gasoline is hitting $1.89 and I used the SL for my 50 mile daily work errands twice this week.

Its nice to have some of the lowest gas prices in the nation. I remember when Topeka made national news a few months ago because gasoline made it to $2.99. There was a 30 minute + line if I remember correctly.

Think of all those people who bought into the Chrysler $2.99 guarantee.

That's probably the only thing prolonging their demise.

I was able to buy 93 octane Exxon gas for under $2.50 a gallon this weekend. Woohoo! The guy at the gas station told me it was going to go below $2.00 in the next few months. I'm not sure how HE knows that, but I hope he's right. I'm going to go out and drive the hell out of the Dee8gonator! Woohooo!

Noo Awlins

I filled up with regular non-ethanol gas for $1.99 this Saturday morning on the West Bank of the Miss. river. This was at a convenience store. Mall-Wart had the same price, but theirs is now 10% ethanol.

My gosh, I hope he is right too! I hope it goes well below $2 and stays there at least for a few months.

At todays prices, we're paying €1.17 per litre, which works out at US$ 6.73 per Imperial gallon, not sure what that equates to in US gallons. Thats the price for unleaded.
Diesel is a few cents per litre more expensive.

Filling the tank on my W123 takes about US$90
