not as rare but my friend just sold his 1957 Daimler on ebay yesterday for 12k looking in similar shape as the tempest but running condition. One of 50 made.

Holy *****! What a windfall for the seller! I bet if he had known he had one of the six SuperDuty LeMans coupes from 1963, he would have taken better care of it. Somebody is going to spend another 1/4 million on restoring it.
