Crystal ball time. Will rates continue to drop?
I read an article that said that a fixed 30 year mortgage dropped to 5.75% yesterday. Anyone think they’ll go lower soon? |

We will know shortly after the sales numbers from Black Friday come in. Judging by what I'm hearing, the sales figures will be very very bad. When people stop spending money, our economy and the global economy will grind to a halt. Let's hope people go out and spend and spend for the holidays. |

Rates were even lower....5.25 on a 30-year fixed.
It could stay at that level a while, but will eventually heat up when inflation rears it's ugly head. If you qualify, now is a good time to refi or lock in if you're shopping for a new pad. |

Any mortgage rate with a 5 for the first number is great. People have paid 13% or more and probably will again.
Rates are low, property is cheap, and no one can predict the future.
