Wiki graphics, .svg format?
I want to use a graphic off of Wilipedia, which they say I can, but the format is .svg (structured vector graphic), which I have never heard of and PowerPoint doesn't seem to like it either. Has anyone heard of that type? Is there an easy way to convert it?

Your best bet may be to use the print-screen function in windoze and taking that capture to MSPaint (or photoshop or other graphics tool) to crop the image and save as a .jpg or .bmp for use in powerpoint.

Well I gave that a try but the screen print is pretty indiscriminate. I could not grab just what I wanted and then I ended up with the part I wanted cut off when I put it into paint.
