Anybody think with the oil price dropping like it has Airline ticket prices might come down any time soon? My g/f and I are thinking of going to England for two weeks beginning of July and I'm leaning toward a direct flight on BA. It's currently around 3500 bucks for the two of us. Just wondering if there's a possibility of it dropping before then.

Friend of mine just looked at prices direct to England from Denver in April. $850 or thereabouts. $100 less with one stop.

Yah, but BA is always the most expensive, then Virgin. I am booked family of 4 from ATL roundtrip to Gatwick on Delta/US Air for $3200 mid May.

The time window is not of my choosing I'm afraid. Girlfreind is a teacher and doesn't get off till June. And I have to take two weeks vacation by end of June or lose it so the time window is pretty much pre-ordained.

Try Phoenix to Boston to Gatwick. I'd think that would be cheaper than $1750 a head.
