College Students... Feeling the Pain of looming Finals?

I'm burned out... I have a 15 page paper due tomorrow making the best arguments for and against Universal heath care, then i will dive right into studying for finals.

I can't think of a another time where I've felt more unmotivated with school. I waited too long to get the foreign language requirement out of the way.... its sucking all joy I have for learning right out of me, and I still have 2 more semesters to go.

Things are getting much busier at the office too, so I have less down time during the worst possible period.

Rant over, back to work...

Yeah, my kid is having a rough 10 days or so. His (simple) robot for Electronics design class worked fine but his Wobbler engine for Mechanical design stops after a few revolutions. He turned in his big Eng300 paper and got an A on it and his presentation went very well too. It was on Friday and he and a buddy always dress strange for Physics on Friday. I think he went as the dark Spyderman. Teacher did manage to keep from laughing during presentation. He was supposed to have three exams today (Monday), but he got his Bio exam moved to tomorrow (Tuesday) so he could do a decent job of studing for it. It is his worse class and he really needed to do well to keep his grade up. Calc2 is giving him fits (the teacher is worthless-he and his buddy are having to teach themselves out of the book). Still should pull a decent enough grade. he has a big advantage in that he does not have a job outside of schoolwork.
Just remember to sleep sometime BEFORE your exams. Fried brain is usually as usefull as drunken brain. Seems great at the time but play the tapes back and OMG.
Good luck and never give up!

I'm feeling drained. I've just completed a bunch of papers, and I have one final exam this week and two next week. After that, I'll prep for my final semester of undergrad. W00T!!!!

I am right there with you man. I have 4 finals, one this friday, two next wednesday, one next thursday.

I got a large programming assignment due this wednesday, and a 10 page paper due next friday on removing minumum wage.

I got 3 semesters left after this one, two of the semesters are going to be 20 unit semesters... Fun.

I also have work, and right now we are prepping for the arrival of 25 new servers. It sucks to, as I am heading up the project of preperation and installation. Woohoo.... :/

I just want to pass this semester.

Wrote a quick paper on universal healthcare a while ago. If you need any facts or anything then I'll PM you a copy. Obviously don't copy as it went through turnitin

Have some sympathy for the people who are going to have to read your work.

Took the only one I cared about yesterday, Calculus final. That was one of two yesterday, one today, one Thurday, and a paper due Friday. This is my easiest finals week yet (this is the end of my fifth semester), because I've studied throughout the semester for a change.

I remember building my wobbler steam engine a while back. It worked first time though for me though, its sitting here on my desk and I fire it up every now and again. That was the most fun I ever had doing anything for school, thats why I'm now a mechanical engineering major.

You'll be glad when you are done! ( I mean for good)

I graduated in May, but my girlfriend and friends that are left over are all getting pretty busy. For her, she only has one final during finals week, but a ton of other things that need to be done before that. I know the stress!

i wish I had a cool job and cool classes but I dont

I had a final yesterday in photography, total cake by the way. Tomorrow I've got my calc final which I know is going to kill me. This semester was a waste since I dropped half my classes due to my stupidity for signing up for stuff..

I'm going to enjoy literature. I do know over the summer I'm going to take 3 or 4 summer courses to finish up this fall.
