Wonder if a live chat feauture would work on this forum
I have been using a live chat feature to work on some computer issues, and it is quite nice. Live discussion and live resolutions. That would be great to have it here. ANy chance, any interest

It was first mentioned back in late '99 or '00. From what I remember, the biggest fear was that valuable information would get lost in a chat, and who want's to go through hours and hours of chat logs just to see if anybody knows what code 19 means?
Chat might be an idea for OD, but I am tempted to think that there might be more "brawls" vs. discussions about whatever.

We use the one on TDIClub all the time. Plus its nice for the noobie that stumbles in with a simple question. If you like VeeDubTDI and I can set up a room on the server we use, it's not much work at all.

well its just a thought, I know a lot of questions that are specific could be answered easy enough in chat form. Just like this discussion, could just be plain fun to chat MB's when the wife kicks you out into the doghouse. hmmm , will my wireless work in my shop .......
