Interesting story. I'd like to see the movie about her life that was out a few years ago.

That's too bad. Her image was instrumental in bringing the dark, mysterious, algolagnic side of sexuality mainstream, albeit in a diluted form.
On the other hand,my Gramps once dated Louise Brooks.

In a lot of ways she's transcended the generations. My sister has quite a few friends in her circles with the Betty Page hairdo, glasses, clothing, etc. Of course they're covered with tattoos too, but the basic look is the same.

Swamp:

What exactly is it?

When Chad first sent it, I tried clicking on it to enlarge, but it didn't...

It looks (at least to me and on my screen) like a Shar-pei puppy with an Uncle-Sam hat (???)...eh???

The attachment is sized for avatar use.

It's Swamp Thing with a Yankee/Uncle Sam hat.

More hijacking so you can have "Swamp Thing" background:

The movie is about the same caliber as "Toxic Avenger" but much cooler.
