Today I passed an '06 Vette...

On the highway, in weather related traffic jam.

It's friggin' below zero and the roads are really, REALLY icy.

Didn't look like he had snow tires.

That's hardcore.

Could also be testament to some stereotypical thoughts about the IQ's of 'Vette owners.

Yep. I run Dunlop M3 Winter's...

If he didn't have snows, that thing is almost useless. Early last winter I had all seasons and had lots of trouble. Throw in the 'Vette's wide meats and clearance

My '77 Corvette did well in the snow with a nearly 50%-50% weight distribution, and posi-traction. -Which says nothing about it being a piece of crap in most other ways.

I've passed a Porsche GT3 with my pickup; it's sad to see these hardcore performance cars on the highway only to have the driver's of said cars stay in the slow lane doing 55. When I'm in my AMG, I feel it's my obligation to be in the fast lane - it's where that car belongs. For a GT3, it should always be in the fast lane and always passing everyone.

Yep, fast cars should keep left. Sadly most a driven by old guys who drive them like Buick's.

I'd drive like they do on the Gumball run if I had a GT3...and rack up high attorney's fee's keeping my license.

Really do we live in such a communist dicatorship that you cannot do 150 in your GT3 on the highway? So much for the land of the free! I'm moving to Hong Kong.

If you can afford a GT3, you could do 150 in your driveway.

Yeah, around here people who have nicer cars like to keep to the left. The left lanes here are usually the nicest paved.

I was on my way home one day, and got buzzed by a GT3RS that was doing at least 100.

I'd love to go out west where you can really let them rip, to much traffic and police around here.

First road I'm on thats as far as I can see in the desert...look right...look left...look behind...burry it.

Huh? He was in the left going 5mph, I was in the right/exit lane going about 10. The roads were 'fer ****. Icy!!

If I were racing him in the summer, he'd be a distant memory. Unless it was a Z06. lol

"Top Gear reported that the Koenigsegg CCX holds the fastest speeding ticket in the United States, which allegedly occurred in May 2003 in Texas. It was supposedly 242 mph (389 km/h) in a 75-mph zone"

Thats why I drive a diesel, I have no self restriant and would most likely try to top that.
