Nevada Loses
To Utah, US House Seats At Risk
Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania each would lose a seat, according to an analysis by Election Data Services, Inc. Five states — Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, and Utah — would each gain one seat. Texas would be the big winner, adding three seats. - Utah is the nation's fastest growing state, knocking Nevada from its usual top spot. Nevada, which has been in the top 4 for the last 23 years falls to 8th - Arizona is the second-fastest growing state, followed by Texas, North Carolina and Colorado. - Only two states — Michigan and Rhode Island — lost population from 2007 to 2008 |

It seems that the only thing Nevada has lost is the status of being the fastest growing state. I say that's a good thing.
