Selling our Benz project. 1963 Mercedes Benz 220 Heckflosse, which means "fintail". It is bagged all around and gets low. The paint is original and not perfect but gives it character. She runs great for a car that is 45 years old and body has some dings and dents. The interior is very clean and original. Cream colored perforated leather including headliner. It is a straight six with an automatic tranny. Make a reasonable offer. Thanks for the interest.

** the picture showing the trunk is out of date, I re-ran the air lines so the trunk is a lot cleaner now.
Wha-cha!

Proof of the strange concept of taste.

At least they didn't monkey with anything else much.

I would restore the interior and hide the air stuff and make it look 100% stock.

show up to a concours d'elegance park it and lay frame... take that!

Different doesn't mean its good. That is so wrong, just like a 6.3 with a blown suspension.

Its tastefully done. The car looks 100% stock from the outside, the interior is original(in need of a restore) and it works fine. I'd buy it if I had the money

Most Heckies are rusty piles of heap by now, and not worth restoring. This one looks like fun, so long as the next owner spruces up the interior a bit. I say go for it

Looks good. At least they didn't put bad looking wheels on it.

More than a few of the posts on this thread sound exactly like the folks that critiqued the custom rod and car culture back in the early sixties when chopped, dropped, channeled, with a tuck & roll was the way to ride.

I wanna go look at it.

IMHO, it actually looks good. Its not beat, and still has all the old Mercedes Character.

It would be awesome to pull up to starfest, and slam it on the ground.

Take that judges!
