Facebook fans?

I was never into the whole myspace thing, takes too much time.

I did join up with faceook to keep in touch with my cousins in Canada.

Another cousin of mine who I haven't seen in about 12 years just found me yesterday.

It's a cool way to find and/or keep in touch with people without having any strangers dick around with you.

Great idea!

I joined. It's pretty cool. The main reason was to reunite with old friends from high school. So I found my high school's facebook page and joined. Then looked..... and looked.....

I didn't find any old friends... but I did find a bunch of their kids!!!

I have one.

Its cool for the whole sharing photos and keeping track of people when school is on break.

I like it better than myspace as the ads are out of the way.

Is Facebook a maturer version of Myspace?

My son has a Facebook and my daughter has myspace. I think I am a little too old to start one.

I've got one and check it fairly regularly on a daily basis. It's an easy way to keep in touch with my generation Y sister in Chicago.

My 20th H.S. reunion just passed and as the time approached more classmates appeared. I've rekindled a lot of friendships that fell by the wayside only because they moved to different parts of the country.

We also have a number of online friends from different Down syndrome groups and forums that we belong to and it's an easy way to keep tabs and see how everyone's kids are doing.

If anyone wants to be on my super terrific friends list just fire me a PM.

I've got both and all the modifications and detail that goes into MySpace is just too much for me. Maybe that means I've finally grown up.

I've reconnected with about a half dozen friends through facebook, zero though myspace.

No, I'm anti social. I talk to people all day, when I go home I just want to sit down with a beer and talk Mercedes.

Filthy and sitting in the garage with a flat tire, because I don't have time to clean it and properly put it away.(guessing I picked up another nail in my new tires.) I'm going to take some time off this week and get it done, now that they properties that I was supposed to be closing on tomarrow are closing next week.

Sadly I don't have time for cars anymore.

One of my sons is a professor at a PA University who teaches instrumental music among other things. he has a facebook account.
A few weeks ago one of his students claimed he was sick and needed to postpone his lesson. My son had been on facebook, and just read this student's account of his activities the previous evening. It had been his birthday, and he celebrated being able to drink legally--all night long.
My son informed the hung0ver student that he would be getting a zero for his missed lesson, and that he should watch how he celebrates his birthday.

That's classic! Some people just aren't too swift or completely lack disgression.

On that note I have a cousin whose Facebook page will probably come back to haunt her in her future endeavors.

I'm about to take the plunge. A friend of mine just signed up and said all these people from "back in the day" just started popping-up. Should be interesting.
