Context.

You appear to know how the Air Guard works. I'm interested in learning more.

I suggest you visit a recruiter.

Perhaps we could go on the buddy plan? That way we could both learn how military service works.

No. But he did provide me with a rather nice Crossman Air-rifle. Or at least my girlfriend did in collaboration with him. She keeps giving me guns she does :) I figure she's a keeper. Plus a lot of good eatin and company with the relatives and such kept me busy these last few days. I'll likely not be back in full form until the new year.

He never ran from the label, to my knowledge. Instead he just let other people screech about it until the all got tired.

Then he got elected. The voters define what is left vs what is right, not the pundits. The voters, on average, voted for Obama. He his the new middle ground.

End Of Story.

good analysis.

Not really. To claim O is the "middle" simply on the basis of the two alternatives is misleading. He's one half of a crappy alternative. Wether or not he lives up to the label of "middle ground" or proves to be another far left loon remains to be seen. Thus far it's looking hopeful but there's plenty of time for hopes to be dashed.

Pooka,
What a load of crap!
You confuse someone who is politically conservative with someone who is intellectually limited.
Politically, "conservative" generally means one who is in favor of limited government. Among some libs, the term is mis-used to mean that conservative do not want change. In fact that may have been true ay one point, but now, a true conservative is quite radical in wanting to effect tremendous change as the government has continued to grow at an ever increasing rate.
Then you attribute being able to think and analyze as liberal constructs. You continue the liberal myth that Conservatives are just basically stupid.

Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.
