NFL playoffs...

Are here and my Dolphins not only went from 1-15 to 11 and 5 and winning the division, they did it by beating the stinking JETS.

J-E-T-S suck suck suck......

The fins have to play Baltimore at home this week, a team they can and should beat, although they did lost to them earlier in the year.

Yippppppeeeee!

Brett Farve should have stayed retired don't ya think? :D

As a long time JETS fan-- I have to agree. The worst part is having Chad beat them. I always said that Chad was a great QB and that he was wasted in NY. The hardest part of this season was actually feeling hope for a while:(

Oh well... At least I have the GIANTS to watch. The game between them and Philly will be a great one (at least as soon as the Eagles take care of the Vikings)

Also How 'bout them Cowboys! Gotta love it!

I think farve should have stayed in Green Bay for one more year. That team had more talent than the Jets. He did take them deep into the playoffs last year.

I never really watched Pennington prior to him getting here. All I can say is "Thanks"

He may not have the best arm in the world, but he apparently does fine with what he has.

Classy dude, well prepared, efficient and he never makes mistakes that kill you.

MY cowboys stunk it up today . I mean really bad. It was like these guys threw the game or something !!! My AFC team also lost :knife:

I think Tom Coughlin is an *******, I didn't like him when he coached the Jags. But he seems to win. Hey man can you do the Tom Coughlin grin? :D

There is still hope for the Steelers. They looked impressive and/or the Browns looked unimpressive.
I hope Ben is OK but I have total faith in Leftwich.

He wanted the drama like in the last 3 years where he threatens to retire and gets begged to play one more year. This time they had enough and held him to the decision.

Yep, me too, I have been pressured to retire from another forum, but they keep trying to bring me back. This site is my new team which I am glad to be a rookie on. :D

I like Brett, he did what he could.

As long as Jerry Jones convicts and scum Cowboys lose 44-6, it's a good day in the NFL.....a very good day! Punk romo and the zero corps of receivers had zero touchdowns against Philadelphia.....not even one! It was a thing of beauty and glee watching Dallas lose.

Year 13 and counting NO playoff wins or hopes of winning anytime soon for lizardman jones, king of the convicts......today's loss cost lizardman at least $10,000,000 million dollars in 2009 ticket sales for their new $1,000,000,000+ billion dollar taxpayer paid for stadium. I love it!

This remains to be seen.
Both the fins and ravens have improved greatly since their earlier meeting so there is little to learn from that game.

As for the Ravens, a rookie head coach, and a rookie quarterback! Most experts and fans were picking the Ravens to win 4 or 5 this year. A few brave souls had them winning maybe 6, and almost noone thought they would ever win even 8 games.

From here on out its win or die.

Going back to the season where the Ravens won the SuperBowl (tm), I lost my respect for most sports "experts". Uniformly, they always mouthed the mantra, " Defense wins championships". Yet, they really never believed it as they kept picking the Ravens to lose game after game. And the Ravens, with that awesome defense, and aweful offense just kept winning....all the way to being the Champions.

I think the only team we, in Baltimore, fear is the Indy COLTS.

I think the Giants have a good chance of going all the way again. But they do need to tighten up their run defense.
They could easily have beaten Minnesota yesterday. But put the rookies in and they make rookie mistakes.

Look for Romo & Owens to be gone next year. But it was nice seeing them get beat so bad.

I don't know why the Jets let Pennington go, I always thought he was a good quarterback. I guess they got tired of him being injured and not playing all the time.

How about them Lions?? OUCH

F'n Jets. Now I that I've had a taste of what it must be like to root for the Jets every game I guess I have a little bit of empathy for their fans. Well, maybe not. They fired Mangina today. Sure seems like cutting off the nose to spite the face to me. Scape goat anyone? Watching them crumble, and apparently continue to, has taken a little of the sting off. Watching Chad stick it to them took a little of the sting of the 'fins winning off, too. Watching Favre go down in flames, a bonus.

This season was Bellichick's best coaching job yet, playoffs or not. I guess on the positive side I've got a $287 credit towards next year's season tix (playoff invoice paid last month) and it gives Kraft another year to handle the parking/traffic mess with all of the construction and development going on.

It's tough to put your stamp on a team when Jerry Jones owns it. Like his wannabe, Dan Snyder, he'll never win.
