Anybody tell me what my engine serial number is?

I can't make head or tails of it...
As I understand it...It is stated on this as long as the engine hasn't be swapped:

Your engine number won't be on the chassis data plate. It should be stamped on the side of the engine block starting with "103"

Have you tried checking your VIN on the Russian MB club site?

Like MTI said, it should start with 103 and have .983 right after it. As in 103.983

VIN WDBEA90DXJF078700
Model 300 TE
Chassis 1240901F078700
Engine 103983 12 123067

So its 123067?

I need serial # so I can make sure I don't need this extra water pump pipe:

For models with engine serial number from 10-018293 (M/T) and 12-094339 (A/T). Also need 1032001452 pipe and 1245013382 hose for models before engine serial number splits if original pump on engine.
The pipe is the xx1452. I have replaced the hose like 5k miles ago so that should be fine.

From what I read now....That means I don't need it as my engine serial number is after 094339. Right?

I read that as you DO require it as your engine was made after (has a higher number) than the cut off.

*edit* If you've previously replaced the WP it loks like you would NOT need the pipe and hose.
