Kid took matters into his own hands

WICOMICO CHURCH, Va. - Having missed his bus, a 6-year-old Virginia boy tried to drive to school in his family's sedan — and crashed.

State police say the boy suffered only minor injuries and eventually arrived at school after being evaluated at a local hospital. Police did not immediately return a call Tuesday asking who brought him there.

It happened around 7:40 a.m. Monday on Route 360, about 61 miles east of Richmond.

I'd suspect there are problems at home if he thought it would be better to take the car instead of wake up Mom to give him a ride.

Although I wonder how he thought he'd explain things when he pulled in the driveway after school.:D

In that area he was probably going to Christ Church School--wonder why he didn't ask the family driver to take him?:confused::D

That kid is destined to get a gold star for perfect attendance one day!

Rumor has it he has a hot teacher and he was determined to get to school.

He was probably really just trying to impress some girl . . . . What else are cars for?

He probably drives better than Brittney Spears.:D
