The SPIRIT OF THE CITROEN DS, has returned!

I saw this Eliica car with it's 8 drive wheels with electric motors!

It's as MARTIAN, as the original Citroens, back in the 50's! I have always wanted to own a Citroen DS, (Goddess, in French), of the last series, Pallas or Athena. They absolutely fascinate me! This new one as well. Anyone else afflicted with DS21's?

A world speed record and production, no less. 200 cars at $255000. each! The Chief Designer is Japanese. The epidemic is international and world wide!

The first violist for the Baltimore Symphony Orch has quite a collection of old Citroens. Perhaps he could be induced to part with one. I will ask him if you are seriously interested.

As if being a violist wasn't enough to be the butt of jokes...

Wow that would suck on the tollroads that charge per axle. A 1 for 2 deal.

So why so many wheels on the electric though? Can't they put twice the power through one wheel?

The great thing about musician jokes, is that they are equally funny regardless of the target. Violist jokes become Tubist jokes, percussion jokes, clarinetist jokes as the case warrants.

What does it mean when the violist drools out of both sides of her mouth?
( The stage is level)

Why can an orchestra not take more than a five minute break?
( They have to retrain the percussionists)

What is the difference between a dead squirrel, and a dead Tuba player lying along the side of a road?
( The squirrel was on his way to a paying gig)

Traction from a standstill with such a large car is probably the issue since the motors get to full power so quickly.

Yep. It's one of many cars I would have in my Garage of Misfit Cars if my finances so allowed.

It looks like a cross between the Citreon and Lady Penelope's Fab 1...
