Just me and the kids...

… for a week !!

DJ and Shelby went out and bought a new (07 actually) trailer the other day, and are now road trip’n to Scottsdale.

God be with them…

…and our bank account.

Anyone else here in the AZ area going to Barrett-Jackson ??
Perhaps ya’ll can hook up.

Look for the two goofy blonds.
One with a UK accent. The other with a constant smile on her face.

Just tell them I said they owe you a drink and go from there.

I love those Barrett Jackson Auctions, I just wish they would show more of the rare and odd vehicles. There is only so many Vettes, Camaro's, Mustangs and Cuda's I can look at.

Cool.

Yep - Shelby wants an "old" Shelby to go with the "newer" Cobra she has now.

I'm betting she'll come home with lot 1343 (Saturdays auction), a 67 Shelby GT500E. Signed car with papers and all. Plus 725 supercharged HP to boot !!

What DJ comes home with (if anything) is anyones guess. I'd bet if there's an old XK up though, she'll be on it.

I know the feeling. You have to be there to see the really cool oldies.
I think they edit a lot of that out of the TV showing as to promote the US collector muscle car frenzy that's still in heat. Not too many Speed Vision viewers are into old Jags, MBs, RRs or Bents. They like seeing what they've seen on the road or had in their garage at one time.
You wont see much of Mon/Tues/Weds autions on TV either. More commercials during any live broadcast for sure.

If you want to see what's listed so far - Check the web page. They're all there. Click on "year" to put them in easy to search order.

If the girls stay through Sunday. I'm having DJ hit on Alan Jacksons '67 FJ45 4door Toyota LC for sure. Me wants zat-one !!

One of my all time favorites was that bus that looked like a train that sold for I think 5 mil.
