This is the first story I've ever heard where a gag reflex resulted in swallowing.

Snopes says it's a hoax, but what the hell, I want to believe it.

I was thinking .....BS!

Even though a hippo is a big animal it is a plant eater and I bet it cannot swallow anything so large as a dwarf!

Doesn't really matter, a hippo can easily kill an average full grown adult, don't mess with them.

I am well aware they are very very lethal.

The subject was swallowing a dwarf by accident without chewing.:P

Hippos occasionally eat meat - kinda like fat vegetarians falling off the wagon and binging at McDonalds...
