Just found this site and signed up. Are there any printable "how to files" available on the web short of ordering a manual? I purchased a 86 300E last summer and am just now beginning to begin basic repairs such as brakes, steering linkage, window controls, etc.

The 'DIY Articles' section at the top of the page, under 'Resources', has some links you'll find useful. And more if you search, lots of info in board's history. If you can't find it here, it's probably never been done. And don't be ashamed to ask, just make sure you search first or people get frustrated.

You can also get a torrent of the manual.
