It reminds me a little bit of a Cadillac CTS: 2010 E class

No way....the CTS is horrid looking. This at least has some style to it.


Jeremy Clarkson made this comment about the CTS: "The designer was only allowed to use, a ruler."

I'd take the CTS over this car, style wise. It has a nicer interior too. Sad but true.

I think there was a topic on this already. I said that the current E class is the best looking E-class in a long time and one of the nicest looking sedans on the road today.

Q: DOES THE AC WORK? HAS IT BEEN CONVERTED TO 134? Jan-16-09

A: AC works fine, my mechanic says it's R-12. He says last time he charges it he used an adapter he has to charge it. Thank you for your question.

My understanding is that quality has been returning to Daimler since the late 1990's? Anybody comment on that?

Maybe in 7-8 years when the price drops into my "buy range" I will own one. In a diesel. If they make it.

I don't much like what I see. Though I'd have to see one in person to be sure. Hate the interior.

And what about the 2010 E500 coupe?

It's not as bad as the first time I saw it (in the other thread a few months ago). I think I might get used to it in about a year. At this point though, I think both the W211 and W210 look better.

I like the way it looks.

I've been driving an 07 E550 sedan off and on for the past couple of weeks that was beat on that a friend is trying to unload, as it was a 'company' car a fired employee drove. I find that it is an abject POS. I like the way it looks, but it lags on acceleration as much as my chipped E300 Turbodiesel, reeks of smoke, even though it has the cabin filter and rattles like a chevvy on the inside with niggling interior issues. Not impressed.

Pff.. Lexus-loving SOB.. ;)
